养猫之后起红点猫为什么会喜欢追逐它永远也

养猫的人应该都知道，猫是喜欢玩激光笔的。
但是，你有没有思考过这样一个问题：就那么一个小红点，没有任何气味，猫咪也从未“真正”抓住过那个小红点，那它为什么会对之痴迷呢？
其实关于激光笔对猫是好还是坏，还有有不少争论的。
那么到底该不该继续使用这个看起来超棒的玩具呢？下面我们详细讨论。
激光的诱惑
激光天生对猫有刺激作用，因为它代表的是：快速移动的猎物。
虽说，室内猫不需要捕猎来获取食物了，但是这种天性从未退化。
当激光点在房间里快速移动时，猫咪把它理解为一只试图逃跑和躲藏的小动物。因此，某些天性便开始外显，比如：捕猎、猛扑和杀死猎物的欲望。
对于猫来说，那个小红点是死是活，并不重要。看到移动的红点之后的反应，靠的是本能反应，而不是智力。
猫如何看待激光
此外，另外一个因素也起到重要作用：激光真的对猫非常有吸引力。
理解这个因素，首先我们要了解猫的眼睛结构与人的眼睛结构有何不同。
视网膜是眼睛的主要结构之一。它由两种关键细胞组成：杆状细胞和锥状细胞。
杆状细胞处理微光视觉、检测运动；锥状细胞帮助眼睛看到颜色。
人类的眼睛中锥状细胞比杆状细胞要多，这意味着，我们可以看到五颜六色的世界，充满活力。
而喵星人的眼睛里杆状细胞要多于锥状细胞，这意味着，即使是非常细微的动作，它们也能准确捕捉到。
这和激光有什么关系呢？这意味着：移动的小红点，猫咪是很难视而不见的。
当你把激光笔对准它的时候，它首先会看到小红点，然后天性（捕猎、猛扑等）立即被唤醒，在它还没反应过来这东西不能吃（也有可能是它们知道这东西不能吃，但是不 care ）的时候，光点已经移动，再次激发天性，进而进入循环。
这就是几乎所有的猫（不健康的猫，可能会不爱玩）会对激光笔欲罢不能的原因。
关于猫和激光的争论
这些争论的点，你了解过以后可能会多少有些意外。
反对者认为：用激光笔来逗猫，是在愚弄猫咪。因为，当扑向红点的时候，猫咪脑袋里的指令是“杀死那个猎物”！即使猫咪玩的再开心，它本能也不会认为这是游戏。
激光光点是永远都“抓不到”的目标。猫咪永远不可能吃掉它。当有的猫意识到这是人类的“诡计”之后，可能会暂时停止追逐，甚至变的沮丧。
而心情变差的猫，可能会出破坏行为、攻击行为等不良行为。
为了让激光笔更像是一个游戏，而不是一个“诡计”。当你玩完后，给它一份它最爱吃的零食或者一个物理玩具（比如假的老鼠、乒乓球）等。这样它就能获得“杀戮”的满足感，即使这种满足感并不是来自激光笔本身。
再次提醒逗猫棒游戏的方法，跟猫玩逗猫棒的时候，不要让猫总是抓不到羽毛，适当的让它成功几次，这样才不会让它丧失兴趣。

假设你的猫似乎真的很喜欢追逐激光，而不仅仅是陷入一个无尽的追逐-突袭-失望的循环中，你也不用过多担心。
追逐激光对猫来说是一种很好的锻炼身体、放松心情的方式，同时也可激发其本能——室内饲养的猫，这其实很难得。
但是仍然有两个需要注意的问题。
1、不要把激光直接照在猫的眼睛里。任何功率的激光都有可能损害猫咪的视力。
2、为猫准备更多的玩具，玩激光笔的挫败感会积累。为了防止这个问题发生，就变着花样给它玩不同的东西吧。
